I said before for HR or other benefits Services now taking a look at Gusto specifically for their payroll software and why they're at the number one spot is just because Gusto is so simple and easy to use and I have personally used Gusto and it's just very easy to go through and utilize their software it's very simple and easy to understand their pricing is fairly competitive as well when it comes to comparing them to a lot of the other different payroll software solutions that exist now Gusto is very easy to use again like I said before now they do automatically file your payroll taxes as well they do have good great customer service they offer benefits and time tracking built in as well as unlimited payroll runs obviously they just charge a monthly rate as you can see here you can run your payroll in minutes and you know you could do it as many times as you want every month they don't charge extra and your team gets paid right away as you can see you can sync your team's hours um uh automatically they summarize things for review as well as you can see here you know they have little videos kind of showing you how their
software works of course you also have your payroll taxes filed automatically which is very important for a lot of you guys running payroll of course so you want to make sure whether if you do have local state taxes as well as the

federal taxes uh for running payroll no matter where you are located uh just making sure that that is ran properly and paid accordingly uh as you run payroll as well and one of the other really nice things about Gusto is that they do have a lot of other software Integrations this is really why it bumps
them up to the top spot in this list here today is that they also work with other accounting software Solutions such as xero QuickBooks as well as other software such as Clover tea sheets as you can see here and trainule so they have a bunch of different
software Integrations that work seamlessly with their payroll software so it's easier to track things as well uh or if you're trying to connect it with health insurance 401K workers comp time tracking uh PTO and more as you can see here it's all on one platform these other aspects Beyond just running a payroll of course the main focus of today's video is payroll but if you do want some of those other features you can also pay a higher
monthly price for that within Gusto as well which is nice that they also offer those Services again very common you're going to see that across a lot of these different services and software mentioned in today's videos, they also offer a lot of those other benefits or offer the ability to offer benefits per se so the ability to have that integration and syncing with this other software is really nice with gusto of course they
have the compliance as well again they do have the tax registration in all 50 states as well so that's nice that you're covered no matter where you are located as well uh they also offer uh employee i-9s W-2s contractor 1099s as well for tax time
and automatic calculations so as you can see here they have a variety of different solutions no matter how your business is structured uh and just
making sure that everything is taken care of so they have a lot of different other Financial tools that they also offer for employees too which is a nice little benefit,
not everybody needs that but it is cool that they also offer some of these other benefits for people who are utilizing Gusto so again Gusto is at that number one spot and moving on at the number two spot we have on pay so on pay is also
a prevalent payroll software solution they also offer HR Services too if you need that but for payroll running payroll on pay is another great option when it comes to running payroll for your small business now on pay uh again they also offer HR and benefit services but specifically within their payroll services as you you can see here you know whether you're a startup whether you're a farm agricultural gym fitness restaurant doctor dentists accountants no. matter what size business you can run payroll uh with them as well as you can see here this is what their pricing looks like this is more or less the same type of pricing structure that you're going to see it's generally a set monthly recurring fee and then a per person fee that's really the same thing with gusto as well if we just take a look at their pricing uh it's and of course this pricing is accurate as the name today's video be sure to check out their pricing Pages as a quick disclaimer that pricing is always subject to change but generally you're going to see a monthly charge and then a per person per month fee as well that's generally pretty much the same type of pricing ranges you're going to see common amongst most of these different payroll software Solutions moving along here so as you can see here on pay in terms of what's included in their payrolls service of course you can pay your team they also have everything set up for the federal state and local taxes as well making sure that those calculations are set up and they also do have Integrations with QuickBooks and xero so if you're using them for your accounting software then you can also connect that with onpay as well to bring all of your different books together for your bookkeeping making sure that the accounting is well integrated so that's nice and that's why onpay is at the number two spot in this list as you can see they also have different reporting features for your payroll services so you can see um uh in the payroll software you know what are the different pay types the employee counts wages all of that detailed reporting you can see in your payroll summary they also do have a um a mobile version as you can see here that you can view things on so yeah you know they also offer more than just payroll as well like I mentioned a lot of them also offer additional services but yeah on pay at the number two spot moving in at number three we have ADP now ADP has been around the block for a long long time they really are one of the oldest uh HR payroll software Solutions and that's why they're at the number three spot just because they've been around for so long and they still continue to offer a great service for businesses whether you're small medium or large scale now adp's payroll software solution is known as run so it's ADP run is their payroll software solution that they have and as you can see here they also have you know a trial period so a lot of these different companies also offer free trials which is nice to consider if you're looking at testing them out again Gusto has that as well so but ADP if you're looking at that at least you can try them out for a period which is nice to get free payroll at least for a certain limited time of course that offers accurate as of today's video of course check their page to see if that offer is still valid but as you can see here another good reason about ADP is just because they're such a large company they've been around for such a long time they really can handle growing your business so if you continue to scale and grow your business they will be there right with you because they they have that experience with much larger corporations and companies so if you're starting out small that's fine they can still help you out at a smaller uh business size but then if you continue to scale going from small to medium to large they can at least handle that and you won't have to worry about any migration because ADP is just such a big platform overall they are one of the most popular HR services and they obviously offer the payroll services so that everything is tax compliant again as you can see here they do also have different add-ons and Integrations as well and they have different plans depending on what you need within your payroll software if you just need to run payroll and pay taxes as you can see they have their essential payroll now you do have to go through their whole quoting process if you want to see their pricing so it's something to bear in mind it will take you a little bit of time to answer through their little questionnaire to see like what your business is structured like but as you can see here you also have your tax and compliance built in a pretty easy payroll uh and they also offer support as well if you need that for your business of course they do also have the Run mobile app which is nice so they do have a mobile app version uh that you can track things on as well additionally they also offer other add-ons and Integrations such as business insurance or Retirement Solutions and time and scheduling if you need that but in general run by ADP is a great software option just because they've been around for such a long time and they can handle larger companies if you continue to scale which is really one of the nice benefits for ADP even if you are small as well it also can work well for you one of the downsides of ADP is just it can be slightly clunky sometimes just because depending on how you're you know going into things it may be a little bit dated compared to some of the other software but in general I would still

taking a look into for as a payroll solution uh for your small business moving along at the number five spot we have Intuit QuickBooks and QuickBooks payroll now QuickBooks payroll makes it into this list because well QuickBooks alone is a really great accounting software solution and if you're say for example you're already using QuickBooks for your accounting you can also add on QuickBooks payroll and it's all in one big dashboard so you can add on your payroll services so that you can pay your team all with just within one software solution this is really good if you just want to keep things simple uh and if you're if you are you're enjoying using Intuit QuickBooks then you can it makes sense to add on their payroll services that's why I mentioned them in this list because hey if you want consolidation you just want things in One dashboard this could be a great payroll option for you and your team of course so as you can see here you can pay your team and access HR and benefits within their payroll service so as you can see here you can set up automatic payroll for paying out your team they do have tax penalty protection same day direct deposit automatic taxes and forms so they'll calculate everything for you as well as you can see here you can free up your time and setting automatic payroll they do also have time tracking so you can approve time sheets or create invoices and they also have a 24 7 support as well as additional features such as if you need these of course uh they do have expert setup HR advisor and 1099 e-file and pay depending on what you need whether it be 1099 misc or 1099 NEC forms as you can see here you can manage people and payroll uh whether you need to run your automatic payroll or even overtime alerts for people if they are running over time as well so you can you know pay your team and track your time as well as your employee benefits you can also run through QuickBooks payroll so as you can see here it is great for tax time and because it's all in your main Intuit QuickBooks software it's just another tab within your QuickBooks accounting software you have your QuickBooks payroll it's just a new tab that you can go into and it makes it really simple and easy for people especially if you're already familiar with using QuickBooks it's why I included the QuickBooks payroll in this list because they are a good payroll software just to add on to what you're already using as well for your bookkeeping and accounting additional they also have HR support workers comp health benefits and 401K plans as well and of course you can feel free to check this out if you want to see what their software sort of looks like as well but in general you know QuickBooks payroll another good option and it's just something that you can add on to your existing subscription uh if you are already using QuickBooks for example or if you're not then you can also just get started with QuickBooks payroll moving along next on this list we have wave and wave apps is a great software for utilizing free accounting so they do have free accounting but they also offer Payroll Services now their payroll software and why they're in this list is it is a paid solution that you do need to add onto an account so this is something that is paid within wave but in comparison to their regular software that they offer which is why they make it in this list as you can see here they do offer free invoicing free accounting and Free banking but then their payroll service they also offer which is why they make it in this list because they also offer payroll which is really nice if you are looking for something that's maybe a little bit more budget friendly uh within wave so wave apps and wave Financial offers Payroll Services as you can see here this is what their pricing looks like now digging into the wave payroll more specifically into what they offer as you can see here you can run payroll with waves so this is waves payroll solution is that you can run payroll obviously within wave now the nice thing about this is say you're already using Wave maybe for your accounting software then this makes it really easy just like how QuickBooks operates to just run your payroll through your accounting software which can make your life a little bit easier if you just want one login you don't have to worry about you know connecting and Integrations and all that kind of thing that you maybe would have to run into with some of the other Solutions mentioned earlier in this list so with the wave payroll one thing to bear in mind though is that they are a little bit more limited compared to some of the other Solutions in terms of the state availability now this is of course currently wave is only available for the tax payments and filings within Arizona California Florida Georgia Illinois Indiana Minnesota New York North Carolina Tennessee Texas Virginia Washington and Wisconsin I believe I had said all those States correctly but it is coming soon to more States so depending on what state you're in maybe if you're not within those States then of course you can always check back on the wave payroll page and see if it's you know coming soon to your state if it's now available in your state maybe hey maybe when you're watching this video it's available in all states it just depends on where they're at currently but it is something to bear in mind if you do need that tax payment and filing Within your payroll tax services is that it's only available in certain States so that's something to bear in mind however you still can do direct deposit uh no matter where you're located so if we go to the pricing as you can see here uh at least for payroll it is a little bit cheaper if you just are within a self-service state but if you want the tax service which I know most you guys probably want it's a little bit more expensive but it is limited only to certain States currently of course when you're watching this it may be in all states but just depends on when you're watching this video the self-service dates again are a little bit cheaper so that's something to bear in mind but going back to the wave payroll of course they do also offer uh your automatic payroll journal entry so you can see everything within your wave bookkeeping if you want to keep things all just in one since it is seamlessly connected in the same software again you do have direct deposit as well and you have your self-service pay stubs and tax forms whether you know so employees can access their pay stubs and W-2s and manage their contact and banking information again you can also utilize workers comp as well so it is pretty easy to use and they also offer a 30 day free trial currently if you want to test out utilizing the wave Payroll Services it's pretty simple and easy to use in general as you can see here this is how their monthly fees break down they are available in the US and Canada as well which is pretty cool so if you want to run your payroll then waive payroll could be another good small business payroll offer and solution for you in your business again is just worth considering what they have compared to maybe some of the other uh um payroll software Solutions moving in next on this list we have just works so just works is a not yet another payroll software solution they do also offer employee benefits HR services and compliance as well so just works is another good option for you within your small business in terms of running your payroll now just works it does have very similar pricing again uh to like a Gusto or something like that they are slightly more expensive but just depends on what kind of compliance tools and HR tools you may want within your payroll service of course they do make it easy to do your onboarding uh and Company benefits paydays making sure that they also have health benefits or 401K plans uh tracking your work hours and everything else that you would want within like a payroll software solution so as you can see here they also have a bunch of other different Services built into the justworks software but just works again another good option worth checking out for running your payroll in your small business moving along next we have TriNet now TriNet is more for larger scale operations not necessarily as great for small business but they do still offer it depending on the size of your small business TriNet is a little bit more of an all-in-one solution not just for payroll but also for HR Support they do have overall like leadership training different employee support so they do go a bit above and beyond compared to other Payroll Solutions that are just online Payroll Services TriNet does a bit more and they are you know you do have to fill out their little form here to get a quote so it is uh something to consider there that you do have to contact them directly to actually take care of your services and to get a quote from them directly they do offer a bunch of different Services Beyond just payroll terms of more like HR and legal different aspects of running a small business so they're more like almost like a partner in a way so is something else to consider but I figured I would throw them in this list just because they are another good payroll and HR solution depending on the size of your business you do have to connect with them and reach out for a quote from them so try net another good option but you know not necessarily for everybody because they are more an all-in-one solution and they are uh you do have to reach out to them directly to even get the pricing so moving on next in this list at number nine we have a pay core so pay core is another online software solution for your yet again for your payroll services so Paycor another good option they do have advanced uh dashboards as you can see here within their HR and payroll software uh that you can track things and manage your overall employee setup whether it comes to health care you know whatever um type of and you know in whatever type of employer that you are you do have that option in to run of course their HR and payroll software as you can see here they have their payroll software and their different analytics as well as expense management so as you can see here their dashboard is pretty solid they are well rated from other different software uh channels whether it be like captera software device or G2 as well so they do have solid ratings and reviews online for pay core they are another good option when it comes to running out your software now of course in terms of what they offer they do offer a lot more Beyond just payroll again similar to like a TriNet they do offer a lot of other services as well but if you just want payroll you can still do that within paycore but they do offer as you can see here a lot of other benefits depending on what you might need in your business so it is something to consider but moving on last but not least after Paycor we have Deluxe now Deluxe is an again another company that offers a lot more be on just payroll but you know if you just want payroll then cool you can still do that and they do also offer the tax filings for any state whether you need your W-2s 1099s they also have w-4s new higher filings and they also have Integrations with QuickBooks online and even QuickBooks desktop which is pretty cool so if you already may be using QuickBooks for your accounting then you know Deluxe can also combine and integrate easily with your accounting software in addition they also have different online payroll services so time tracking uh paycheck calculations a detailed payroll reporting as well Deluxe is a maybe a little bit more expensive than some of the other options in this list uh but it is worth considering them and you do have to talk to sales
